I started keeping a list of every book or audiobook I have read or listened to since 2016. I am keeping this list up to date.  Some include the dates that I read oto them (not the dates they were published).

  • Brain Rules by John Medina. This is an easy read — perhaps good to recommend for novices on how to improve their brain functionality.
  • The Headspace Diet: 10 Days to Finding Your Ideal Weight by Andy Puddicombe.
  • Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. This was perhaps the best book I read in regards to mindfulness, even though it’s primary subject is not mindfulness. It talks about the two types of “brains” we have: the lizard brain, as you call it (fast, impulsive, emotional) and the slow brain (logical, rational).
  • The Marshmallow Test: Mastering Self-Control by Walter Mischel.
